what is NavIC? how NavIC is different from GPS? navic full form

what is NavIC?

Welcome to "ET-EVERYTHING TO EXPLAIN" today we will learn how NavIC has an edge over GPS NavIC  full from is  Navigation in Indian Constellation Prime Minister Narendra Modi named it NavIC in honour of our Fishermen /boatmen
Navic had total 9 launches starting from IRNSS 1A to IRNSS 1IIRNSS 1A had an Atomic clock failure SEO launched IRNSS 1h for replacement.

how NavIC is different from GPS?

to do a specification wise comparison of the two systems
we will compare the Systems on 3 major criteria the signal is on purpose scrambled to prevent the potential use of NavIC by our enemies
NavIC has a special restricted mode~1 m accuracy for the armed forces is incredible GPS also has a similar accuracy both GPS and NavIC can increase their accuracy by using local networks up to ~ 10 m.
Google uses a similar technique to improve the accuracy of GPS in their maps app.
GPS i.e. The global positioning system can provide positioning across the globe had invented GPS so it could provide its armed forces and missiles with global navigation RSS stands for Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System IRNSS primarily serves mostly for India and its neighbours.
ISRO has designed the system to give more accuracy in the neighbouring countries for obvious reasons.
GPS seems to be better when it comes to coverage but I'll discuss later on why it's not the best  IRNSs1A now functions as a Data communication satellite since its clocks failed although GPS has more satellites but in the NavIC constellation always face INDIA since they are in a Geostationary orbit the orbital period is 24 hrs, which means the satellite will be always facing This means the satellite will always be in the line of sight with IndiaWhen you point you Dish Tv towards space you actually point it towards a geostationary satellite in space.

NavIC currently has 3 geostationary and 4 geosynchronous satellites. Total of 7 so far GPS satellites are in a medium earth kind off orbit hence they are relatively faster if you take specifications into consideration looks like the GPS is better, but...NavIC's 7 satellites are designed by and for India. They are always in the line of sight.
GPS satellites are relatively moving fast since NavIC's satellites are so high they can work even in canyons or steep valleys.
GPS satellites may have issues in canyons and valley India will have full control over NavIC we can extract any kind of data and use it at our will without notifying anyone.
US denied GPS service to India during Kargil war leading to many lives being lost, although India did win the battle. It is speculated that the GPS signal was scrambled during the Brahmos missile test in 2012. There are several advantages to having our own Navigation system.
ISRO can even improve the system further and is flexible ISRO is planning to add more satellites in the future with its own Atomic Clocks NavIC will improve in the future and we will have total control over itHope you liked this.if you seen so far do leave a like subscribe for The poverty of knowledge is the biggest threat to our planet.
